The article reports the first results of an extensive research that intends to investigate the perception that the adolescents involved in the phenomenom of bullism have of the family environment. In particular, in this publication, they have taken into consideration the parental educative attitudes, the parental educative style, the attitudes of support by the parents and the perceived family conflicts. The study was conducted on a sample of 1.256 adolescents in the age Group of 15 to 19 years in Turin and Rome. The results confirm the hypothesis. The bulliers perceive a lack of parental control and of having been raised in a permessive environment; they feel less supported in their difficulties and judge negatively the style and the outcome of the conflicts that they have with their parents.
